BIOGRAPHY
Robert 'Hubi' Hofmann (born June 29, 1986 in Straubing) is a professional bass player and music producer from Abensberg, Germany.
After learning to play the bass in 2003 and his first live shows and band experiences in 2004,
he founded his own studio and DIY record label Hate 206045 Records in 2005.
2006-2009 he studied at Bass School Munich graduating with diploma as live & studio bassist.
During those years he founded Radio Haze (5 LPs, 4 EPs, touring with ZZ Top, Uriah Heep, Nazareth, Ten Years After, Graveyard),
and joined GumoManiacs (8 LPs, 1 EP, and tour support for Sepultura, Blaze Bayley, Leaves Eyes, Suicidal Angels, Anvil).
2009-2012 found him studying at Music College Regensburg graduating as music educator,
as well as working as assistant engineer and session bassist for drummer/producer Stephan Ebn and composer Christoph Zirngibl
participating in TV/Cinema productions for leading indie and major labels, publishers and companies.
From his 2013-2015 Berklee College Of Music studies onward (graduating in music production),
he has been touring with different Rock/Metal-, Top40-, Cover-, Wedding-, and Big-Bands,
and working as producer and mixing/mastering engineer at his newly founded Slash Zero Records studio and label.
After further specialization at Mastering Academy (2020/2021), he's now also a certified Apple Digital Masters mastering engineer.
