Today Radio Haze are releasing "The Psychoustic Sessions III" exclusively on 10" eco-colored vinyl with fancy booklet limited to 200 copies. I produced, recorded, mixed, mastered, played bass, guitar, rhodes, sitar, hurt my fingers, sang, and made strange sounds, and had fun doing it. Air played cajon, bongos, some things that made rattling sounds, melodica, synth, sang and layouted Phil's artwork, who also guitared, drank, and sang on this record. Ah yeah, he also played a banana... (have you seen the 'making of' video?) You should definitely turn on and tune in, because the trilogy is now complete!

Slash Zero Records have the honor to release the latest MASS album "Still Chained" (which contains 13 re-recordings their classics from 1973 - 1987 plus 2 new songs) on vinyl! As I wrote earlier this year, I recorded parts of this ship, and even got to mix and master it. You can order your copy at their Bandcamp store - but be warned: a band that already sold 200k units before will easily sell out the strictly limited run of 500 double-LPs on 180g red translucent vinyl (with etching on side D) in a nice gatefold pretty fast...

"3. Weltkrieg" is 5 years old today. 100 people made this special album possible WITHOUT ANY INTERNET ABUSE! It's still a mystery how SV could produce such a masterpiece in such a short amount of time (3 days - songwriting included). This was also the last record released on Hate 206045 Records before we went "professurnal" and changed our name to Slash Zero Records. Get your copy at Bandcamp - sorry folks, no streaming...

The 5th release this year that I was involved in will be that of acoustic singer/songwriter trio Kleine Terz, who visited me @Slash Zero Studio in March and recorded their first magnum opus "Großes Album". The album is now available on Spotify and you can get the CD at their live performances.

"Momentum", the 3rd album by Radio Haze, is now 5 years old. It was recorded in 2013 at our old studio as part of Hubi's music production studies at Berklee. Grab the last copies if you dig 180g translucent vinyl or give it another stream!

Friday April 26th, 2019 - after 32 years, the legendary MASS are 'back to the music' with their 9th album "Still Chained". Founded in 1973, disbanded in 1987, resurrected in 2016 by founding member Günther V. Radny, they re-recorded 13 songs from back in the day plus 2 brand new compositions. I had the honor to record parts of this ship, and even got to mix and master it. You can order your copy here or at their record label Pride And Joy Music...

This album should have gotten way more attention: "The Love To End All Love" by Symbiance (director Konstantin Ferstl and cinematographer Stephan Bookas) - produced at the old Slash Zero Studio 5 years ago...

Ohrange teamed up with Schtifilms to shoot 2 nice videos ("Diva" & "L[i]eben") for their latest album "L[i]eben" (produced @Slash Zero Studio and I even played the bass parts)!

The magnificent TG Copperfield released his 5th solo offering "Magnolia" (which we produced last August in collaboration with engineer legend Hias Roithmeier), and because more is more, he also released "Common Buzzard Blues" (also produced last year @Slash Zero Studio in close collaboration with BahamaMama) together with his band 3 Dayz Whizkey. Our beloved "Klienkitein" album by Afraid Of Sheep (a supergroup with members from The Prosecution, Radio Haze and GumoManiacs) has its 5th anniversary - and in that honor, I remastered it and put it on Bandcamp for you to download (for free!). You should definitely grab the limited 180g vinyl or check that one out on Spotify if you already liked the original (or if you haven't heard it at all), as this is what the album should have sounded like in the first place (but we haven't had the money and technical knowledge back then)...

Because all of their recent 3 albums completely sold out, my bros from Ohrange released a greatest hits album entitled "Perlen". So if you missed their last albums "ohrange Album", "[er]leben", and "Wie Ein Mobile" (I produced and played loads of instruments on all of these, and Air played some drums here and there, too), this compilation is for you!

In my last post I raved about the Hertrich Bros and their cool project Attune and now they released their self-titled album "Attune" (which I mastered recently). It is available digitally and on Spotify, but they do think about going vinyl for this one soon, so watch out if you like dark, moody, dreamy vibes with roots in Downtempo, TripHop, and NuJazz while maintaining memorable harmonies and melodies.

On this particular day many many years ago was my brother's and my own release day (thanks to our parents!) and in our honor (at least that's what I like to believe) AntiPeeWee released their 3rd album "Infected By Evil" (which Air did the layout for, and his brother, who shall not be named here, produced the whole damn thing @Slash Zero Studio) - Get the limited vinyl version and then stream it!
